Dr. Carlson has been in practice in Jacksonville for over 20 years. He graduated from Marshall University with a BS in Chemistry. He went to dental school at the University of Florida. He furthered his dental studies at the University of Texas in their advanced general dentisty residency program in San Antonio. He prides himself in keeping current on the most recent studies of not just what is new in dentistry, but rather what is the most predicatable and long lasting techniques and materials. He teaches part time at the University of Florida advanced general residency program here in Jacksonville. He lectures on esthetic and complicated treatment planning. He is married and has three daughters. For him, family is the most important thing in life. It's his center and everything revolved around it. His time is spent doing car pool, soccer games, car pool, lacrosse practice, taxi service, gymnastic practice, car pool, car pool... When he does get time off for himself he enjoys golfing, skiing, biking, and hiking.
 Dr. Carlson has trained with some of the world's most prominent restorative dental specialists. He is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is rapidly becoming known as Jacksonville area's leading dentist for people who want restorative dentistry.
